Marcus Aurelius

Marcus Aurelius Antoninus Augustus, also known as Marcus Aurelius, was born on April 26, 121, and ruled as the sixteenth Roman emperor from 161 until his death on March 17, 180. He was a Stoic philosopher and the fifth of the Five Good Emperors of Rome. Marcus Aurelius was the father of Emperor Commodus.
