The Book of Thoth
Prince Setne, a priest of Ptah and the scholar of Memphis, hears of a book Thoth wrote with his own hand and slips into the tomb of Naneferkaptah at night. There the ghosts of a family tell how they paid dearly for the book. Setne then plays a game with the dead that he cannot easily leave, and learns that knowledge without respect is a burden. Based on the Egyptian tale of Setne and Naneferkaptah; the scenes and dialogue are ours.
