The Cats of Bastet
Ramy wakes in an old grain store and sees mice running while cats guard the wheat. He learns the Egyptians loved and honoured cats and made statues of them, and that the goddess Bastet was drawn with a cat's head. Ramy feels Miu is not an ordinary cat but an old friend.
