The Cave of the Asplurgles
A narrator stumbles into a hole under an oak in the Vermont woods and is pulled into a glowing cave where the devils of history live in comic retirement, from Ahriman to Moloch. Back among people, he finds human corruption more bitter than any devil.
Age rating: Ages 12 and up. Content notes: A satirical fantasy in which devils appear as comic retirees.
