The Journey of the Sun
Every evening the sun sets and sails the twelve hours of the night in the underworld. Nuru, a small girl with a lamp, slips aboard the night barque and helps Ra across a blind desert and a lake of fire, then against Apep, the serpent who swallows the river. Inspired by the Amduat and the Book of Gates; the plot and the heroine are ours.
Age rating: Ages 12 and up. Content notes: Battles with a giant serpent, no graphic violence..
