The Scale of Two Truths
Nefer, a temple scribe's daughter, dies of fever after lying to her father and blaming her little brother Pepi for something he did not do. Anubis leads her through seven gates and the river of night to the Hall of Two Truths, where her heart is weighed against the feather of Ma'at. An original story inspired by the spells of the ancient Egyptian Book of the Dead.
