Zadig
Zadig crosses into Syria and returns to Babylon, where a tournament decides the throne, and meets a strange hermit who explains the riddle of evil and fate. After solving the final riddles he becomes king of Babylon.
Age rating: Ages 16 and up. Content notes: A satirical tale with jealousy, injustice, slavery, a beating and a widow's burning; nothing gory.
